NANCY REISIG

SERVICES: 12 NOON SUNDAY at HEBREW MEMORIAL CHAPEL A LINK WILL BE PROVIDED FOR A WEBCAST OF THE FUNERAL SERVICE Nancy Henniger Reisig of Spofford, NH, 65, died of metastatic breast cancer on Thursday, March 16, 2017. She was born and raised in Northern Michigan; the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Hennigar. Nancy attended Michigan State University, earning a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree, as well as a Master’s Degree in Japanese Studies from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Wayne State University. A lifelong student, Nancy was working on her Ph.D in Leadership and Change from Antioch University at the time of her death. She served as the first female trade representative for the state of Michigan in Tokyo. She also worked for Mazda, Ford, and Raytheon in human resources. Nancy was an avid international traveler, and lived, in addition to Japan in both India and China over the course of her career. She is survived by her husband, Martin; stepchildren, Harry and Sara; several cousins; a sister-in-law, Roberta; and her cats, Junior and JJ.
