HELEN ROSENZVEIG

September 17, 1932 - July 13, 2020

FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT HAR MENUCHOT CEMETERY IN ISRAEL ON WEDNESDAY 7/15/2020. Age 87, of Southfield, died July 13, 2020. Born in Rozvadov, Poland, Mrs. Rosenzveig survived the Holocaust in Siberia and Kazakhstan. Immigrated to Detroit in 1949 and partnered with her husband, the late Rabbi Charles Rosenzveig to help found the Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills. She had a storybook marriage and was dearly loved by her entire family. Beloved wife for 57 years to the late Rabbi Charles Rosenzveig. Devoted mother of Marty (Susie) Rosenzveig, Rabbi Ely (Chana) Rosenzveig, Judy Rosenzveig and Dr. Adina (Eli) Novogrodsky. Loving grandmother of Ariel (Amanda) Rosenzveig, Rena (Yoni) Schwartz, Tziona (Ron) Simchi, Shifra (Amichai) Gutermann, Shifra Chana (Mendy) Wiesel, Elisheva (Binyamin) Zemelman, Akiva (Danielle) Rosenzveig, Ayelet Novogrodsky, Ronit Novogrodsky, Yair Novogrodsky, Yechiel Novogrodsky, and Liat Novogrodsky. Proud great-grandmother of Hadassah Schwartz, Shoshana Schwartz, Shoshana Wiesel, Rivka Wiesel, Maya Simchi, Gideon Simchi, Netanel Rosenzveig, Emunah Rosenzveig, Ashi Rosenzveig and Ori Zemelman. Dear daughter to the late Shifra and the late Mordechai Damen. Cherished sister to the late Malka Damen, late Yitzchak (late Leah) Damen, late Leibtzhe Damen and the late Esther (late Wolf) Gliksberg. Also survived by many loving and devoted nieces and nephews.
