A retired math professor at Wayne State University, Dr. Handel was a member of the American Math Society. Beloved husband for 47 years to Julie Handel. Devoted father of Moshe (Jenni) Handel and Jon (Ling-Yen Jones) Handel. Loving grandfather of Tsofia Handel and Matan Handel. Cherished brother of Jackie Finkin and the late Florence Kramer.
